VICTORY BREWING CHOOSES MOST LOYAL FANS FOR BEERATHLON

COUPLES BEERATHLON TO TAKE PLACE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9

(Downingtown, PA) — Victory Brewing has chosen its most loyal and passionate fans from a list of 25 enthusiastic couples, to participate in the Victory Couples Beerathlon at Love Fest. In total, eleven couples have been chosen to compete in the Couples Beerathlon to be held on Friday, February 9.

Contestants include representatives from three states and one couple proudly hailing from Dover Air Force Base. The Pennsylvania contingent consists of Karen Rudloff and Bill Triechel from North Wales, Brandon & Pam Penix from Swarthmore, Dave and Tara Filaggi from Coatesville, Rick and Stephanie Mayberry of West Chester, Anthony Fasano & Rosemary Longchamps of Philadelphia, Tom and Ann Evans from Coatesville, Bridget Farrell Steve Mead from Downingtown, and Josh and Jaime Krayger from Yardley. Two couples hail from Delaware. They include David Fox and his fiance Cindy from Dover Air Force Base and Steve & Sharon Reynolds from Middletown. The team that will travel furthest to compete will be Terri Matthews and Dustin Watts from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The three tasks to be jointly competed in by the ten couples include the Victory Beer Brains, The Running of the Mugs, and Malt-Sack Madness. Victory Beer Brains will be a game show style beer trivia competition while The Running of the Mugs will be a test of service, spillage, and speed. Malt-Sack Madness will have five competitors, their legs confined to sacks that once contained barley malt, racing against one another for speed and lack of spillage. The combined points from each event placing will determine the overall Couples Victory Champion.

Similar to 2006, winners will take home the Golden Pitcher of Victory, branded Victory attire and six cases of their favorite Victory beer.
