Contest Rules >>

It’s easy to cry about the world’s supposed problems and point a finger at the “them” that created and permit the wrong.

C’mon. Get a clue. There is no them, only a we. It’s our cowardly tolerance of a wrong situation that allows it to exist. If enough of us speak and act out on a situation that we feel is not being properly addressed, change will indeed come.

So this competition is an exercise in expression. We want to amplify your voice in the public forum and see who your expression stirs to action. Consider this your chance to write a protest song. Or propose a positive direction through your poetry. Or create a drama that illustrates a quandary and its solution.

The subject we have chosen is the age of 21. Let’s hear what you think what this age means to you and what it should mean to all. We’ll have your work judged by a panel of creative folk who are looking for a creative, positive illumination of the subject. Mere whiners need not apply.

The top entry will be rewarded on November 5, 2008 (unless we have hanging chads) with a professional video session aimed at making your voice a global YouTube sensation.
Express yourself.
