Please join us for the first annual Thomas J. Shutt Memorial Foundation Fundraiser at our Downingtown Taproom on September 23rd from 12pm – 4pm. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward scholarships for young writers in the Downingtown, Pennsylvania community.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and include lunch (hummus wraps, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken caesar wraps), beer (over 21), raffles, games, live music, a silent auction and more. Tickets can be purchased here. Hope to see you for this event in memory of Thomas J. Shutt and to support our local community.

The Shutt family established this foundation in memory of their youngest brother, Thomas, who passed away on May 16th, 2017 from an unexplained sudden cardiac arrhythmia at age 25. Thomas was doing exactly what he loved at the moment of his passing – working on a new novel destined for multiple bestseller lists. The hope of this Foundation is that we can support other young people who love writing and support them in doing so.
