Join us April 2, 2013 at 5:30pm for the release of Kennett Ale, a collaboration brew with Market Garden Brewery of Cleveland, Ohio.

Before Victory teamed up with Market Garden Brewery, odds of finding a fresh pint of Kennett Ale were just about as high as they are of actually raising a glass with the artist responsible for the faded ghost sign from which our latest collaborative brew was inspired: not so good.

Now, thanks to Market Garden’s brewmaster, Andy Tveekrem and Victory’s own Adam Bartles, director of brewery operations, this virtually extinct beer style has been brought back to life.

A 19th century-style ale, our Kennett Ale is brewed using English and German malts, brown sugar, esplette peppers, grains of paradise, and coriander.  Its deep brown color and earthy aroma complement the sweet fruit flavors and slight peppery heat left on the tongue. At 8.6% abv, expect medium body and a moderately dry finish.
