Join Victory Brewing Co-Founder, Bil Covaleski in the Downingtown Bierhall for a Rare Beer Tasting event on Wednesday, June 14th from 6pm – 9pm for a great cause that’s near and dear to our hearts!
Taste some of our rarest beers to date as Bill walks you through a tasting session and learn about our finest brews including Dark Intrigue, White Monkey, Earth and Flame and Deep Cocoa! Proceeds from this event will go towards our Headwaters Grant.

The Brandywine Creek gives us the lifeblood of our great beers. On Wednesday, June 14, we’ll gather to give back to our waterways, while tasting some of the their past accomplishments.

With this Headwaters Grant’s funds, we have established a stream monitoring program at four sites along the Upper East Branch of the Brandywine River, have restored riparian buffers with tree plantings and have established a Headwaters scholarship for college students studying our watershed.

Tickets are $100 and will include: Welcome and closing beers, (6) 2-oz rare beer samples, buffet-style heavy apps to follow the tasting, a swag bag, a take home 6-pack of our latest #BlackboardSeries release and a bottle of Red signed by Co-Founder, Bill Covaleski.

The Victory Brewing Story

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts. Just months out of college, Bill’s appreciation of good beer and access to his father’s home brewing equipment inspired him to explore the hobby. That same year (1985), Bill gave Ron a home brewing kit as a Christmas gift. With that, both Bill and Ron developed their love of the craft…
