St. Victorious
Dopplebock
Doppelbock arose from a brewing tradition started by the monks of St. Francis of Paula in 1634. We have put a Franconian (Germany) twist on the style by incorporating malt kilned over beechwood fires from the town of Bamberg for additional depth.
Composition
Malt: imported 2 row German malts, including beechwood smoked malts
Hops: whole flower German hops
ABV: 8.1%
Flavor
A dark, rich lager of sublime complexity and character, St.Victorious is created from many German malts. Long, cold aging mellows the strong temperament of this subtle beer.
