White Wine Barrel Aged Belgian Tripel
You asked, we answered. White Monkey is BACK! Three months spent in White Wine Barrels imparts distinct notes of vanilla and woody tannins with the fruit and spice character of the Belgian-Style Tripel.
Hops: Tettnang Tettnang, Tettnang Mittelfrueh
Vinous, oaky notes combine with the fermentation esters produced by our Belgian yeast strain. Boozy, sweet, woody, and a slight buttery character from the Chardonnay barrels the beer resided in. Dry, drinkable finish.
Sauteed trout w/ lemon, Chevre cheese, grilled zucchini.
Serve at 52 F. Tilt bottle slowly into glass making certain that pour is sufficiently vigorous to raise a foamy head. Try to avoid pouring the last dregs as the yeast sediment is not the most favorable part of this beer. Savor the experience slowly as the ale warms.
