COOKING WITH BEER

1. Beer is most well known for braising or poaching liquids, brining poultry, beer batters for frying, or as a base for sauces. The hop bitterness in beer can be balanced with sweet ingredients including, sugar, brown sugar, and/or caramelized onions.

Note: Cooked food can retain 5-85% of the original alcoholic content from the beer or other alcholic beverage used. It all depends on temp cooked at, type of alcohol used, and how long it's been cooked.
