Overview:
Working with the Victory Brewing Company team, the Electrical and Control Circuitry Mechanic is responsible for keeping the brewery, packaging and restaurant equipment running at a world-class caliber.  This includes preventative maintenance, daily troubleshooting and commitment to continuous improvement of all machines and processes.

Reports to:
Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Description:  Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Performance of general industrial electrical duties
  2. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
  3. Layout and installation of conduit
  4. Troubleshoot control circuitry, diagnose, read schematics and perform necessary repairs
  5. Possess knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures
  6. Keep accurate and complete records of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as completed
  7. Identify, suggest, propose, and discuss solutions to equipment and facility issues with management
  8. Assist in keeping maintenance shop neat and organized
  9. Provide basic hand tools for maintenance projects

Job Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of DC and AC circuits, including three-phase
  2. Knowledge of electrical code – new and old
  3. Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures
  4. Ability to use RSLogix as diagnostic maintenance tool – Seimens S7 Manager knowledge a plus
  5. Work with a high degree of autonomy with minimal supervision to support production priorities
  6. Positive can-do attitude and sense of urgency in performing duties
  7. Work in a safe manner to ensure your safety and that of others are in accordance with OSHA and company policy
  8. Availability to work a flexible schedule (2 shifts) to support 24-hour production operations
  9. Ability to be available for on-call weekend duty
  10. Minimum 5 years related experience

The Victory Brewing Story

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts. Just months out of college, Bill’s appreciation of good beer and access to his father’s home brewing equipment inspired him to explore the hobby.
