Victory Brewing Company seeks an energetic and experienced Restaurant Manager to augment our winning restaurant team. The candidate that demonstrates the following capabilities and ethics would be suitable for this position. As a representative of Victory Brewing Company, our Restaurant Manager is expected to be:

  • Self-motivated to perform tasks outlined and/or those encountered in the normal work environment under direct, fulltime supervision

Scope of Duties:

  • Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant
  • Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
  • Creating and executing plans for staff development
  • Planning and coordinating event menus
  • Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • Managing staff throughout their shift and providing them with feedback
  • Responding to customer complaints
  • Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s policy standards
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Conducting thorough table visits
  • Organizing table reservations
  • Advising customers on menu and beer choice
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
  • Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required
  • Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate
  • Reporting all relevant restaurant activities and situations to GM through daily journal entries
  • Active participation in new business development
  • Active role hiring FOH employees
  • Mentoring and training of all FOH employees and record progress and participate in reviews
  • Collection and evaluation of customer feedback
  • Proper attention and supervision of incoming and outgoing communication
  • Inventory management and supplies procurement
  • Bank transactions and accountability thereof
  • Supervision of FOH and BOH cleaning regime
  • Maintain role as opening and closing floor manager as scheduled
  • Follow up on executed parties with thank you letters

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving at least 50 pounds
  • Flexible with regards to work schedule and hours
  • Ability to be around alcohol without abuse of it
  • Ability and endurance to work hard during shift

The Victory Brewing Story

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts. Just months out of college, Bill’s appreciation of good beer and access to his father’s home brewing equipment inspired him to explore the hobby.
