Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia on Friday, September 23, 2011.

Philadelphia (September 9, 2011) – Celebrate fall and enjoy seasonal beers at Oktoberfest at the With Love Beer Garden featuring Victory Brewing Company.  In partnership with the Victory Brewing Company and Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC), the With Love Beer Garden will be held in the Courtyard at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 5-8 p.m.

Oktoberfest at the With Love Beer Garden will feature seasonal beers from Victory Brewing Company, including one of the last opportunities to enjoy the Summer Love Ale® collaboration beer from GPTMC and Victory.   Also on tap will be Victory Brewing Company’s Oktoberfest-style Festbier, which will be paired with tasty Oktoberfest-inspired treats from Executive Chef Rafael Gonzalez and his culinary team.

“We at Victory are pleased to serve Philadelphia’s best beers in Philadelphia’s premier outdoor oasis of hospitality,” said Victory Brewing Company President and Brewmaster Bill Covaleski.

For visitors who would like a bite with their beer, Chef Gonzalez will prepare a special menu showcasing his interpretations of cook-out favorites.  Dishes may include (subject to change):  bratwurst with sauerkraut; Wiener schnitzel with braised red cabbage; German potato salad and hot soft pretzels cheese or mustard.

“We partnered with the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia and Victory in June on the first-ever With Love Beer Garden, and 1,600 people enjoyed the experience during its five-day run,” says Meryl Levitz, president and CEO, GPTMC. “It proved so successful that the Four Seasons brought it back in August, and now we’re partnering with them again for Oktoberfest. It’s another great way to attract people to our hotels.”

The With Love Beer Garden is one component of GPTMC’s popular With Love, Philadelphia XOXO® marketing campaign, designed to increase leisure visitation and hotel occupancy. The love letters act as invitations to potential visitors and center on a specific Philadelphia experience. The city conveys its distinct personality in each message—all of which are affectionately signed With Love, Philadelphia XOXO.

Please note: in the event of inclement weather, Oktoberfest at the With Love Beer Garden will be moved indoors to the Ballroom Foyer in Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.
