“I am thrilled to have an opportunity to work with Victory!  It is a rare treat to be able to collaborate with environmentally responsible artisans who are passionate about what they are doing. Also, let’s be honest, what could be more fun than working with a craft brewery?” said Tom Peter, owner of Crisp & Co.

The Victory Pint Pickle is complex with earthy, savory and moderately piquant flavors dominating its profile. In an effort to evoke the roots of this German-style Pilsner, the pint pickle features ingredients common in German cooking and combines the flavors of fresh thyme, dill seed, coriander, mustard seed, black pepper, African bird’s eye chile (piri piri), chile de arbol, and Californian heirloom garlic. In order to replicate and subtlety incorporate the rich and savory notes of a traditional German dish, Peter used a unique vinegar and enhanced the flavors with a multi-step infusion of herbs and spices. The result is an exquisite beer pickle that not only contains the inviting flavors of Prima Pils and exemplifies its character but also pairs well with beer.

“We brew our beers in the hope that they inspire people, inspire creativity. Therefore, we are thrilled to taste the delicious results of Mr. Peter’s inspiration by Prima Pils. Those pickles are a welcome addition to our mealtime table!” noted Victory Brewmaster and President Bill Covaleski.

Victory Pint Pickles will initially be available at regional specialty food retailers who currently carry Crisp & Co. products, including, DiBruno Brothers, Terrain, Talula’s Table, and a few stores in Northern Delaware. The Victory Brewing Story

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts.
