Victory Brewing Company’s Restaurant General Manager Raises Funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year Campaign; VBC to be Presenting Sponsor

DOWNINGTOWN, PA – The Restaurant General Manager for Victory Brewing Company, Matt Krueger, is campaigning to be named Man of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Inspired by Victory’s Berry Woodrow McLaughlin’s campaign last year, Matt decided to join her mission to raise funds and defeat blood cancer.

Last year, Matt supported Berry’s campaign and watched as she put her heart and soul into raising more than $60,000 for LLS. Even after observing the time and dedication required of the campaign, Matt courageously accepted his nomination to compete for the title in 2012.

“This is not just about raising money and securing an impressive title,” said Matt. “This is about saving lives and making a difference right now.”

With selfless effort and Victory Brewing Company’s support, Matt has set a goal of raising $100,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in this campaign.

As the Restaurant General Manager for Victory Brewing Company, Matt has been on the receiving-end of many charitable requests. He hopes that the saying is true: You get back what you give out. Matt gives of himself each day as part of the Victory team. Because of that dedication and commitment, Victory Brewing Company has joined his mission by signing on as the Presenting Sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2012 Man & Woman of the Year.

In accepting the challenge to become the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2012 Man of the Year Matt Krueger and Victory Brewing Company have expressed their commitment and hope that others will be motivated to join the fight to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
