Victory Partners with Downingtown Fall Fest

Brewpub on Wheels and Beer Garden to Provide Craft Beer and Fare to Festival-Goers

WHAT: In partnership with the Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Borough of Downingtown, Victory Brewing Company presents the Downingtown Fall Fest, an annual street festival which ‘falls’ on the first official weekend of the Autumn season. Each year, the free, family-friendly event beckons locals to spend their day enjoying live music, great local food, shopping and of course, plenty of Victory beer.

Downingtown Fall Fest will feature the Victory Beer Garden, offering a selection of Victory beers including the Oktoberfest amber lager, Festbier, while the Brewpub on Wheels (B-POW) will be serving up other brews and original brewpub favorites.

WHEN: Sunday, September 25, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE: Downingtown Fall Fest is located at Green Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Downingtown. The Victory Beer Garden, along with the Brewpub on Wheels, will be located at Green Street next to the lake.

PRICE: Admission to Downingtown Fall Fest is free. The event is pay as you go for restaurants, vendors and the B-POW. Purchases are cash only inside the Victory Beer Garden but admission to the garden is free.

The Victory Brewing Story

The story of Victory Brewing Company starts on a school bus in 1973 when fifth-graders Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski stepped aboard, on their way to a new school. The two became fast friends and remained so, even as they grew up and went to college on opposite coasts. Just months out of college, Bill’s appreciation of good beer and access to his father’s home brewing equipment inspired him to explore the hobby. That same year (1985), Bill gave Ron a home brewing kit as a Christmas gift. With that, both Bill and Ron developed their love of the craft…
